Veteran’s Day 

We are offering free admission for veterans and their spouses all day
Monday July 27, 2026. A Service Officer from the Shelby County Veteran Service Commission will be at the Free Entertainment tent starting at 11:00 a.m. to answer questions and provide information about veteran and dependent benefits.

Please join us at 7:00 pm for our Veterans Celebration. This years guest speaker has yet to be determined at this printing. The entertainment will be provided by the Senior Center Singers, of Shelby County. We will also feature the Sidney Veterans Association Honor Guard with the salute to the colors.
Make sure that you stick around after the celebration for refreshments. We will have drawings for some exciting door prizes. You must be present to win; you must be a veteran with appropriate identification. One of the following items would suffice to show your eligibility as a veteran: DD 214, Active Duty Military/Retirement ID card, National Service Organization membership card, a VAMC ID or an ID issued by the Shelby County Veteran Service Commission.
