Growing up in small town, Covington, Ohio, Clark Manson wanted nothing more than to become not only a country singer, but a songwriter as well. Manson discovered his love for music at the young age of three, reciting every word to “Achy Break Heart,” and dreaming of one day filling the boots of country legend, George Strait. Manson moved to Fairborn, Ohio, where he attempted to overlook his musical purpose and attended Wright State University. Soon after, it was evident that being a country artist was a dream he just wouldn’t walk away from. Packing the bars of several Universities, 23-year-old, Clark Manson decided his passion for the music industry couldn’t be broken. In the summer of 2013, Clark Manson became officially sponsored by Jagermeister USA. He released his first debut album in November 2013, Running with the Night, which quickly climbed the iTunes charts, peaking at number thirty on the day of its release.

Running with the Night, also checked in at number five on the Billboard “Heatseekers” chart in November 2013, and has received much recognition all around the world by some of Manson’s thirty-three thousand Twitter followers and fans. Since the album release, Manson has swamped the ticket-booths, selling out a number of shows and quickly becoming a notable country vision in states ranging from Wisconsin, all the way to Texas. While in between many late night shows and road tours, Mansonheads to Nashville as he undertakes a new summer EP, which will be released this June. “I've learned early on that persistence and hard work will get you a long way in life," said Clark. "Everyday I strive to be a better person, artist and business man."  With much talent and a fierce determination, Manson continues his quest to the top. Scheduled to appear with some of Nashville’s finest in summer of 2014, as well as headlining multiple festivals, it is hard telling where this incredibly talented, up and coming country artist will be next.

Join us for an evening of Gospel Music featuring:

Michael English

The Nelons

Michaels's last album with the singing Americans, Black and White, was one of their most popular. It featured a single English was fairly well known for called "Welcome to Heaven", but the success of it was probably stalled when he left the group in 1984 to join the Gaither Vocal Band as their new lead singer, replacing Gary McSpadden. The change of the groups introduced more people to the gospel genre. After rising to fame as a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, Bill Gaither encouraged Michael to pursue a solo career. He signed his first solo recording contract with Warner Alliance in 1991 while continuing to sing lead for the Gaither Vocal Band.
With numerous awards and accolades, including 3 GRAMMY Nominations, 6 Gospel Music Association DOVE Awards and many songs that have soared to the top of national radio charts, this family group continues to produce innovative music that embraces their traditional roots, while simultaneously reaching beyond various musical boundaries with an emphasis on introducing songs for the church. All the while bridging the generational gap of music lovers with incomparable harmonies and great songs.
